From what I'm getting from this, we value a persons importance from the number of post? Not the content they post, but the actual number of posts. Hum... You would rather have a bunch of trolls ruining around posting non sense? (I.E. the whole forum about people being upset about the dead baby comments, and I'd bone that dead corpse thread). You can't have it both ways. Either you have trolls flooding the boards with crap, or you have the lurkers that come and enjoy the content of the site who know they don't have anything to actually contribute of value or interest to the topic. I definitely agree it's not the best idea to attack a "n00b" to the site. That right there is going to keep the lurkers lurking in fear of ridicule from the "important" people who post on a daily basses. Maybe it's just me, but I would rather read something of value then have to sift through a thread to find something worth reading. That's just my opinion. I'm sure I will get ridiculed for speaking my peace, or be called a "n00b", but from lurking around for a few days, and seeing who is the non sense posters. I will consider the source before I get my panties in a bunch and leave.
